The Chairman of Oyo State Football Association, Chief James Odeniran would on 17th August be install as the Baale of Akinyele Town and its environ.
The commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Kolade at the event would present every instrument of office to the retired FIFA referee at the Akinyele Palace Square situated along Ibadan-Oyo expressway.
All the arrangement according to a statement issued by the Akinyele Royal Council have been concluded to have an itch-free installation and presentation of instruments of office for the new traditional ruler of the sleepy town.
The community according to the release has expressed joy and described the appointment of Chief Odeniran as Baale of Akinyele Town as a welcome development owing to his numerous developmental contributions
to the community.
Meanwhile, stakeholders and other members of the Oyo State Football ruling body have begin to felicitate with the Odeniran family and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), urging the new traditional ruler to bring his wealth of experience in football administration to bear in managing the affairs of the town.
