Oyo state government has announced the cancellation of staggered classes as it fixes new date for the commencement of intervention classes for SS3 Students in January.

This was contained in a circular made available by the state Ministry of Education Science and Technology

The commissioner for Education, Barrister Olasukanmi Olaleye reminding the education stakeholders of the staggered attendance of classes during the first term of 2020/2021 session, and the resumption of the 2nd term on the 11th of January, 2021.

On the Intervention classes, the circular directed that Intervention classes for SSS3 students should commence on the 11th of January as contained in the attached timetable.

The circular read, “Consuequent upon the above, all Public and Private Schools (Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Technical Colleges) in the state are to resume normal classes.”

“However, you are to use all available infrastructure in the school suitable for temporary classroom to ensure required distancing as well as continue to strictly observe other conditions stated in the guide line for resumption due to Covid-19.”
