Oyo State House of Assembly service Commission has promised improved welfare packages and good working conditions for workers.
Just as the commission also urge the workers to be more discipline and effective in the discharge of their duties for effective legislative work in the state.
The Chairman of the commission Barrister AbdulWasi Musah gave this urge while speaking at the interactive session with the workers on Monday in ibadan
While urging them to be open to changes , the chairman said the commission would ensure proper training, promotion and make available facilities that will make their work easier and faster
The former Deputy Speaker said ” we understand that there are some challenges but we are not relenting in our efforts to make everything work better so as to make Oyo state House of Assembly the best and set pace for others.
“Thank God we have a listening and supportive governor we must also complements his efforts by bracing up to effectively dischargd our duties at various capacity in order to make Oyo state a better place for all of us
” He has graciously approved the confirmation of Mrs Foluke Oyediran. as the subtantive clerk of the house and that of Mrs Oyenike Olufadewa as substantive Permanent Secretary and more are coming”
At the interactive session, workers were ejoined to work accordding to the civil service rules, always dress corporately and do away with any form of business that is not part of their responsibilities at work
Speaker of the Assembly Debo Ogundoyin who was accompanied to the meeting by some principal officers in the House commended the workers for their support and urged them not to relent in their effort in making the 9th Assembly a better one
The workers however appreciate the leadership of the house and the commission for creating avenue to dialogue and promised to put in their best to achieve the dreams of the legislative arm and the executives.
