Chief Adeniyi Akintola a prominent legal luminary and frontline governorship aspirant under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state has stated unequivocally that the innaguration of APC state executive council and local government by Hon Isaac Omodewu is an exercise in futility
Akintola who strongly disassociate himself from such an illegal act ,
maintained that one can not place something on nothing
According go him ” Isaac Omodewu who purportedly received his certificate of return as the party chairman in the state sometime last week at the national secretariat failed , refused and or neglected to wait for the harmonized state executive council list from the headquarter as well as the wards and local government list for the state before he hurriedly sworn his stooges via the unilateral directive of his principal .
Akintola describes this act as self serving , self fulfilling and self aggrandisement against the general interest of the teeming supporters of APC in the state .
He further described the inauguration as illegal and a NULLITY and urge the national headquarter to urgently restrains Omodewu from further anti commonsensical act that can undermine the chances of the party to return to Agodi house come 2023.
He thereby urged the party faithfuls to remain calm,peaceful and resolute that all will be well in no distance time
