All Progrressives Congress APC Oyo state today innaugurated the cartaker committee for the party at both state and local government
The swearing-in was done by the Notary Public, Barr Jide Makinde on Thursday 17th December 2020 under the Watchful Eyes of the Caretaker Chairman of APC Oyo State, Chief Akin Oke, who had earlier been SWORN-IN on Friday 9th December by the National Caretaker/Convention Committee of APC in Abuja.
The Local Government Caretaker Chairmen of the Party are thereby expected to SWEAR-IN all their LG Executives as well as the Ward Chairmen who would in turn SWEAR-IN their WARD Executives.
In Attendance were, Hon Lekan Adeyemo, the Caretaker Deputy chairman for Oyo State, Prince Adefioye Adekanye, Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Alh AbdulRasaq Arikewuyo, Oyo North Senatorial Chairman, Alh Hon Mojeed Olaoya, the State Secretary, Baale John Fatona, Asst Secretary,Hon Morufu Lamolo, States Organising Secretary, Mrs Mabel Williams, the States Women Leader, Mogaji Ishaq Ajibola Areokuta, the States Youth Leader, infact all the Officers were present including the 33 LG Chairmen of the Party.
In his Inaugration Speech, the Caretaker Chairman of the Party, Chief Akin Oke admonished the new Caretaker Executives to guard their loins and get ready for serious work ahead of them.
According to Chief Akin Oke emphasized that in line from the directives from the National body of APC,the Chairmen of the Party from LG to WARDS, there should be NO DISCRIMINATION against anyone, especially towards our RETURNING Party Colleagues and urged the Party Executives at the LG and WARD Level to be forward looking for the guidelines from the National Headquarter of the Party for the upcoming Membership Registration and Revalidation Exercise.
The State Caretaker Chairman, Chief Akin Oke rounded up by wishing Party members Merry Christmas and a happy New year 2021 in advance.
