For Dr. Yunus Akintunde, a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming 2023 election in Oyo central, he doesn’t need to be in position of power before he render assistance to his people and community.

Tose Community Primary School (Akinyele LG), AUD Primary School, Ilora (AFIJIO LG), Yaaye Community Basic Primary School, Elegbo (Atiba LG), St. Peter Primary School, Odan (Egbeda LG), IDC Primary School, Oke Orere, Lalupon (Lagelu LG), Ibere Community High School (Ogo Oluwa LG), Elekuro High School, Ogbere (Ona Ara LG), Ebenezer Primary School, Orisumbare (Oluyole LG), Adebimpe Community Primary School (Oyo East LG), Enuoran Oba Primary School (Oyo West LG) and Ikunsin Community High School (Surulere LG).
According to Akintunde, who was represented by Hon. Abiodun Adeyemo, at the symbolic handing over to the authorities of the school, said they should make good use of the facility.
“I am grateful that these have come to fruition. I am grateful to you also that you cooperated with us while the construction lasted. This is something I like doing most. Over the years, I believe I have made solid relationships with people from far and near and it has been beneficial. Though they have always been of great assistance, I just decided last year to activate some goodwill that I have built over the years and these schools are the result. In the coming weeks, we shall be handing over the boreholes and streetlight projects that we facilitated.
“It is not my money per se. It is your money. But we just need someone to deploy his network, to facilitate project. I am just grateful that God has used us to do this. I will not relent. I also like to use this medium to urge those who have connections to deploy them for the betterment of the society,” he said.
He thanked the federal ministry of works, authorities of the Sustainable Development Goals , SDGs, his friends and members of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The representatives of the communities and authorities of the beneficiary-schools who took turn to speak, extended gratitude to Akintunde, praying God to always be his guide in what he does and aspires to do.
