In a remarkable display of support, Alhaja Akani Juliana Momopewa, the immediate past Chairperson of Olorunsogo Local Government, has rallied a powerful coalition of women in the area, declaring unwavering allegiance to Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Chairman and CEO of Ilaji Sports and Resorts, and Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland.

This mobilization reflects Chief Sanusi’s growing popularity as a gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State, with an increasing number of supporters endorsing his leadership and vision for 2027.

At a well-attended event, Hon. Akani highlighted Chief Sanusi’s philanthropy and humanitarian services as catalysts behind the movement’s momentum, especially among women and youth.
Despite ongoing intimidation and harassment from political functionaries attempting to dissuade supporters, the JDS Movement remains steadfast, with its influence and appeal strengthening across all 33 local governments in Oyo State.

“Chief Sanusi’s work speaks for itself,” Hon. Akani declared.
