A chieftain of All Progressives Congress Egineer Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan has called on stakeholders in Oke Ogun politics to speak with one voice and present quality candidate for the gubernatorial election in 2019
Olaniyan a gubernatorial hopeful while speaking with our reporter in his office in Ibadan emphasized on the need for the region to be united and ensure anybody that is presented gets full support from the region
Accord to him, the governorship race is not a bread and butter affairs and this time the chances of Oke Ogun zones to produce the next governor is brighter and must be grab and pursued seriously.
The Igboho born Civil Engineer said he is prepared to take Oke Ogun and Oyo state to the next level if given the opportunity to serve “ my life is a life of service, and i have dedicated it to that, I have been serving my people before and I intend to serve them at a higher capacity, I know Oyo state better and I have programs and plans that will compliments the solid foundation that has been laid by Senator Ajimobi so that we will not rely on Federal Allocation before we develop our state”
While rating Senator Ajimobi six years in office, the former Manager Oyo state Road Maintenance Agency OYSTROMA said the governor has laid a solid foundation for infrastructural development in the state
He added that Ajimobi’s performance in other sector is encouraging, “ He has done very well, Oyo state will not end in 2019 whoever is coming after him will continue from wherever he stopped
Olaniyan however urge the electorates to shine their eyes before declaring total support for any candidates, “ Ask questions check their profile, antecedents and their plans before support anybody for any positions.”
