Oyo 2019: Alao Akala Set to Declare Ambition

Former Governor of Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala will tomorrow 4th July 2018 declared his political plans for 2019.

Otunba Akala, a chieftain of the rullung All Progressives Congress APC contested and lost governorship election twice in the state .

He contested as a sitting governor in 2011 and lost against senator Abiola Ajimobi and similar scenario played out in 2015 when he contested under the platform of Labour Party.

His declaration will certainly clear air on rumours and distort political calculations in the state

The Ogbomoso born politician joined the All progressives Congress last year and has since been receiving calls by his supporters and fans to contest for the gubernatorial position.

It would be recalled that some group of supporters under the leadership of Mr Fola Adeosun some months ago beckon on him to declare for gubernatorial seat because he is consider the best man for the job.

An inside source told our reporter that Oga’s declaration is coming after due consultation has been made and he gets positive responses from all corners.

The declaration will hold tomorrow at his Bodija residence in Ibadan
