Oyedokun Conducts Amotekun Operatives Round Communities in Ogbomoso South

Pledges Improved Security

Sequel to the handing over of an operational vehicle and 11 motorcycles to the Oyo State Amotekun Corp in Ogbomoso South local government area by His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde, Caretaker Chairman Ogbomoso South local government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy today led Amotekun corps patrol.

Hon Oyedokun who drove the operational van of Amotekun, led the patrol which covers major roads and markets in the LG area such as Aarada Market, Caretaker, Arowomole, Kajola market, Ologbon, Ijeru among other areas.

Hon Oyedokun speaking with the officers of Amotekun before the commencement of the patrol said he will give priority to security of lives and properties

“I will continue to give utmost priority to security of lives and properties in Ogbomoso South, as the Amotekun Corp will help to further strengthen the security of our local government area during and after this festive season.”

He added that as the Cashew season is approaching, the Amotekun corps will ensure herdsmen did not invade peoples plantation and ensure destruction of farmland is halted.

Furthermore, he charged the officers to learn from the recent EndSars protest against police brutality when discharging their duties has he reveled that that he will not allow them to use it to extort citizens.
