Over 20,000 Secondary Schools to Participate in Principals’ Cup- Sunday Dare

Minister of Youth and Sport Development Mr Sunday Dare has said over 20,000 secondary schools will participate in the 2021 edition of principal cup.

Principal Cup which was initiated to promote talents and discover new ones was stoped about 13 years ago

Mr Dare while adressing players of Ilaji football academic at the Ilaji Hotels and Resort in Ibadan said the first march will come up next friday with game between Igbobi College and Government College Kaduna.

He said the game which is rechristened National Principal Cup will not be limited to football as it used to be in the past but also have more games.

Dare maintained that the principal cup is another way of revolutionalising sport development in Nigeria.

While charging the player of Ilaji football Academy, Dare expresses optimism that with consistency and determination as well as the facilities put in place by the propietor of Chief Dotun Sanusi, the players will go far in their Carrier.

He also commended Chief Dotun Sanusi for putting in place a standard Sporting facilities in his domains.
