A chieftain of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ekiti State, Chief Lekan Akinyele, has harped on the need for the leaders of the party to unite for victory in the subsequent election.
Akinyele, a philanthropist and entrepreneur in a chat with National Insight said it is high time for the party members to eschew their grievances, Politics of bitterness and come together as one.
The House of Reps Aspirants fot Ijero, Efon and Ekiti West Federal Constituency, maintained that” It is obvious that Nigerians are tired of the All Progressive Congress APC Style of governance and are hoping on PDP to liberate them from the system.
Speaking on his misson in politics, the Efon Alaaye born oil magnate said, “I am in politics to serve and influence positive changes in the society and not to take advantage of the system to enrich myself”
“My vision and mission is simply to make my people happy through adequate representation and bringing dividends of democracy to our people
“Our people deseve adequate representation and I am prepared to ensure everything to represent the interest of my people and let their voice be heard at both local and National level where issue affecting them is being discussed”
Akinyele who is a foundation member of the party said, prior to my involvement in politics I have been helping and supporting my people as well as the community and I believe Politics is an avenue to secure government presence and development for out people.
