Members of the Osinbajo Grassroot Organisation (OGO) Ekiti State chapter have restated support for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to emerge the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.

The support group, which joined the government delegations and other dignitaries that received the Vice President when he was on a day working visit to Ado Ekiti, described the legal luminary as a personality with unique character

Southwest coordinator of the group, Sir Pao Omoniyi, said: “We believe that with people like Osinbajo at the helms of affairs, Nigeria is in safe hands.

Apart from being endowed with the intellectual capacity to lead, his current position as President Buhari’s vice places him at a vantage position above other aspirants.

“Seeing him in Ekiti today makes us happy. You can see our members turned out in large number to receive the Mandela of our time.”
During the visit, the VP commissioned an ultra-modern civic centre as part of activities to mark the third anniversary of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s second term in office
Osinbajo was in the company of Kaduna Governor El Rufai and Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, among others.
