It was a gathering of who is who in Ibadan as Odua Progressives Union OPU, South America Coordinator, Amb. A. Coker Ogunlowo and his siblings host elaborate remembrance party for their late father, Pa Muili Akanbi Olaiya Ogunlowo who died 30 years ago.
Royal fathers, top political office holders, captains of industries,OPU delegates from all continents and créme de la Créme of the society gathered in Ibadan for the celebration.
The Generalisimo of Yorubaland, Aare Gani Adams was represented by a powerful delegates led by Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo, Hon Ademola Ige, former council chairman and minority leader Oyo state House of Assembly.

The late Engineer Ogunlowo Muili Akanbi Jolaiya was born in 1936 at Akufo Adegbolu, ido local government of Ibadan by Mr Ogunlowo Salawu, Agbo ile Alagbede, Ede Osun State and reside in Ibadan and Madam Adebola Aweni from Agbo ile Lamini, Nalende ibadan Oyo State.
He attended st Patrick Primary school and sunligth secondary modern school, now Holy trinity Grammar school .
Engineer Ogunlowo Muili Akanbi Jolaiya is a lover of football and do play for his school then in those days, his profession is technician and a Printer who later established Ogun’s printing press located at the back of Adamasingba stadium now Lekan Salami stadium.
Engineer Ogunlowo Muili Akanbi Jolaiya married Mrs Ogunlowo Mojisola Abigail at olosoko ,Ibadan and got married in 1968 and the marriage was blessed with children including Late Aderonke Romoke Oyelakin, Adewale Olawale James Ogunlowo, Abiola Ezekiel Abiodun Ogunlowo

He was called to Glory 30 years ago, 11th February 1994 and laid to rest in his residence at Efun , Olaogun Ibadan, Oyo State.
