A Nation’al Leader of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Comrade Adesina Akinpelu has lauded the excellent royal leadership and direction of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.
Comrade Akinpelu extended warm felicitations to the revered paramount traditional ruler of Ibadanland on the momentous occasion of his 90th birthday.
This is contained in a statement personally signed by the Oke-Odo, Ibadan born OPC National Leader, and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Saturday.
He also congratulated Oba Olakulehin on the occasion of his first year on the throne of Olubadan of Ibadanland, wishing him many more years on the throne.
Comrade Akinpelu commended Oba Olakulehin’s wise and visionary leadership, which has brought immense pride and progress to the people of Ibadanland.
The OPC National Leader expressed his deep appreciation for the monarch’s dedication to the well-being and unity of his subjects, on behalf of himself, all Oke-Odo descendants, and all Yoruba self determination groups in Ibadan.
On Oba Olakulehin’s first year on the throne, Akinpelu wished the Olubadan many more years of fruitful reign, praying for continued peace, prosperity, and progress under his leadership.
