Senator Iyiola Omisore has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State to remain calm and hopeful as the party awaits the final decision of its National Working Committee on the ongoing appeal process over the governorship ticket.

In a statement issued on his behalf by the Director-General of the Osun Rescue Mission Team, Hon. Isreal Ajibola Famurewa, Omisore expressed appreciation to his supporters for their steadfast loyalty and confidence in his leadership.

The former deputy governor said the unity and discipline of party members had become more evident “in moments like this,” noting that external forces were working to undermine the internal democratic process of the party.

“As we await the outcome of the appeal and the final resolution of the National Working Committee, we urge all members of the party to remain calm, focused and resolute,” the statement said.

Omisore dismissed rumours and propaganda surrounding the party’s internal affairs, insisting that nothing had changed about his conviction and determination to reclaim power from the opposition in Osun State.

He also urged supporters to avoid actions that could escalate tension, calling for composure, unity and continued trust in due process.

“The Rescue Mission remains intact. Our direction is clear and our destination has not changed,” the statement added, assuring party members that victory remained certain.
