The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1has described the late Olowo of Owo, Oba Olateru Olagbegi as a great man, even in death. Oba Adetunji made this statement on Wednesday while reacting to the death of the monarch.

The first class monarch pointed out that the death of the first class came as a rude shock to him but noted that he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

He however commiserated with the government and people od Ondo State in general and people of Owo town and his immediate family in particular.

Oba Adetunji  in a press statement signed  by Adeola Oloko his Personal Assistant/Director of \Media and Public Affairs  also prayed God for the repose of his soul
