Olowa of Igbara-Oke Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede, Ilufemiloye, (Ogidi III) has urge Muslim faithful to continue to live in peace, unity and not to discard the message of forgiveness, love, perseverance and others learned during the holy month of Ramadan.
The monarch in his Eid-el-Fitr message through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ayodeji Owolabi, also urged the Muslim faithful to be steadfast and continue to pray for the unity of Nigeria, and strengthen the spirit of oneness, regardless of religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, or political affiliations for that is the only way to overcome the present challenges facing our country.
While congratulating the Muslims, the monarch said the virtues of moderation, devotion and regular supplication to Allah should subsist beyond Ramadan, and remained a people who forgive and avoid violence and bitterness.
He said as Nigerians, we should reflect on the various challenges confronting us as people of one nation, and see that it require the cooperation of everyone, if we are to make any meaningful progress and build a greater Nigeria. He also remind them to continue to intercede for the quick recovery of our dear president, Mohammadu Buhari.
