Community leader and philanthropist, Alhaji (Chief) Tunde Musbau Oloburo, has donated ₦10 million towards the completion of the ongoing Muslim Hospital Oyo project.
The donation was announced by Imam Daud Igi-Ogun, Khādimul-Muslimīn of Oyo Kingdom and Chairman, Muslim Hospital Oyo Project Commissioning Committee, who described the gesture as a huge contribution to the development of the healthcare facility.
In a message appreciating the donor, Imam Igi-Ogun said the ₦10 million donation was received with great joy and surprise, commending Oloburo for his generosity and commitment to the success of the project.
He prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, joy and goodness upon the philanthropist, both in this life and the hereafter.
Imam Igi-Ogun further appealed to members of the community to join him in praying for the donor, stressing that the donation represented a significant boost to efforts to complete the Muslim Hospital project.
The establishment of the Muslim Hospital is regarded as an important milestone in efforts to expand access to quality and affordable healthcare in Oyo and strengthen the town’s capacity to meet the growing medical needs of its people.
The Sanmori Adini of Oyo Kingdom also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administration’s healthcare projects, particularly the ongoing developments at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, saying the initiatives would contribute significantly to improved healthcare delivery.
He equally commended Senator Monsurat Sunmonu for facilitating various developmental projects in Oyo, describing her interventions as valuable contributions to the development of the town.
The latest donation by Oloburo is expected to further support the ongoing work at the Muslim Hospital and encourage other individuals and organisations to contribute towards its completion.
