Olab Gas Opens New Ogbomoso Branch, Donates Over 1,000kg of Gas to Residents

Olab Gas has expanded its operations with the opening of a new branch at Owoade area, Ogbomoso, three years after establishing its first station at Olopemarun area

As part of the launch, the company distributed over 1,000 kilograms of gas to residents free of charge.

Speaking at the commissioning on Sunday  the Chief Executive Officer, Prince Bayo Owolabi, described the new station as an extension of the company’s investment in Ogbomoso.

He said the facility would boost the local economy, create jobs, and reduce unemployment in the area.

The commissioning was performed by Bashorun Akinwole Akinwole, chairman Oyo state local government service commission who commended the initiative and urged other well-meaning indigenes to emulate the gesture by establishing businesses in Ogbomoso.

“This is our land. Nobody will develop it for us — we are going to develop it ourselves,” Akinwole said. “I am urging those who have enjoyed God’s grace to consider investing in their father’s land and let’s make ogbomoso great

The event attracted the crème de la crème of society, including prominent friends and associates of the Owolabi family.
