Okere of Saki Calls for Intense Prayer For Gov. Makinde, Other Victims of COVID-19

Okere of Saki Oba Khalid Olabisi has called for intense prayers for Oyo state Governor Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and other victims of Coronalvirus in Oyo state, Nigeria and the world at large

The foremost traditional in a statement said it is suprising that the Governor became a victim of the deadly virus despite his commendable efforts to keep the people of the state safe

Oba Olabisi in a statement signed by the palace media team expresses optimism that the governor will recover and get back to his work in few days.

“His excellency will bounce back on his feet soon, no evil will ever befall him nor his family because he is a man that is passionate about peoples welfare and growth.we will continue to pray to God and appease our ancestors to take away this scourge from our land “

He said further that Governor Makinde and other stakeholders in the state deserve commendation for their efforts in preventing the further spread of the virus through sensitizatoion, setting and a guideline and other measures against the virus

While urging the people to corporate with the government in preventing the diseases, Oba Olabisi said getting rid of Coronavirus is a collective responsibilities.
