Oke Ogun Will Have LAUTECH Satellite Campus – Oyo Deputy Governor

The Deputy Governor of Oyo state , Eng Rafiu Olaniyan has said a satellite campus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH will be cited in Oke Ogun.

Olaniyan said several towns  in the region  have been lobbying for the satellite campus , the do come to me but I told them I alone  cannot determine the location of the campus and wherever it is cited we will all benefit

Speaking as a guest speaker at the 18th Anniversary of Okeho news ,the Igboho born civil Engineer said he he ha met with the governor on the matter and there is an assurance that a campus is coming to Oke Ogun

Olaniyan also said that he is initiating a plan for rehabilitation of some roads including Okeho- Igana- Ayegun road, Saki- ilesa Bariba road and another one in Iseyin.

He urge youths in Oke Ogun to take advantage of the agricultural policy of the state government to involve in farming and stop searching for Job”

” Fertile land is our own mineral resources in Oke Ogun, let us make use of the land and be the basket food of the state

Earlier in his speech, the Onjo of Okeho Oba Rafiu Mustapha demanded for citing of LAUTECH satelite campus in Okeho and rehabilitation of some roada in the region.

Onjo commended the government for the efforts in securing LAUTECH for Oyo state describing it as a remarkable achievement of Seyi Makinde’s adminstration.

Both the deputy Governor and Onjo of Okeho however congratulated the management of Delight Communication, publisher of Okeho news and urge them to continue to be partner in the development of Okeho community and its environs.

    This is a shortchange of ogbomosoland. Other zone in the state has one or two state institution just like LAUTECH belong to Oyo state. However, there’s no mini campus in Ogbomoso from those institution in other zones. Why do you want to split lautech? #notominicampusofLAUTECH. #NOtoshortchangeof#Ogbomoso.
