The General Manager of Ogbomoso United Football Club, Ismail Adegoke, has extended warm birthday wishes to Ogbomoso-born philanthropist and political figure, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole popularly known as Wolekanle, describing him as a “pillar of support and inspiration to many.”
Adegoke, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, praised Wolekanle for his consistent contributions to youth empowerment, community development, and grassroots politics.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists on Thursday, Adegoke noted that Wolekanle’s leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the growth of Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large continue to inspire hope among the people.
“On behalf of myself and the entire Ogbomoso United FC family, I celebrate Hon Akinwale on the occasion of his birthday. Your tireless efforts toward the betterment of our people, particularly the youth, through sports, education, and philanthropy, are deeply appreciated,” the statement read.
Adegoke, who is currently serving as the Special Assistant on Health to the Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade, also prayed for Wolekanle’s continued good health and success in all his endeavours.
Wolekanle, a well-known figure in Oyo State’s political and social landscape, is widely celebrated for his outreach programs and unwavering support for grassroots initiatives.
