Ogbomoso United Football Club has appointed Stephen Adetunji as the new Team Manager of the club as part of efforts to strengthen its management structure and enhance the team’s performance in upcoming competitions.
The Chairman of the club, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, made this known during a meeting with the club’s management, where he charged the technical crew and officials to work diligently to ensure the team is fully prepared to win its next competitive engagements.
According to the chairman, the club remains committed to building a formidable team capable of competing favourably, adding that the management must focus on discipline, proper coordination and adequate preparation for the tasks ahead. The technical crew of the team is headed by Jimoh Adua as Head Coach, with Ibikunle Abidemi Caleb serving as Assistant Coach.
Until his elevation to the position of Team Manager, Stephen Adetunji served as the club’s Media Officer and Secretary, where he played key roles in the club’s administration and communication.
His appointment is expected to further strengthen the club’s management and support the technical team in achieving the club’s sporting objectives.
