Ogbomoso is set to host a major agricultural and investment-focused event as the Ogbomoso Agriculture Marketplace Conference and Exhibition holds on June 24 and 25, 2026, at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

The two-day event, organised under the banner of the Ogbomoso Economic and Investment Summit, is aimed at promoting agriculture as a key driver of economic growth, job creation and sustainable development in Ogbomosoland and beyond.

The event is expected to bring together farmers, agribusiness investors, policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.

According to the organisers, the conference and exhibition will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, investment matchmaking, innovation showcase and practical discussions on modern farming techniques, agro-processing, mechanisation and market access.

Mr Benjamin Onigbinde, convener of the program said, the choice of LAUTECH as the venue underscores the role of academic institutions in advancing agricultural research, innovation and human capital development.

The exhibition segment is expected to feature farm produce, agro-allied products, equipment and emerging technologies in the sector.

Interested participants and exhibitors have been advised to make enquiries through the provided contact lines as preparations intensify for what organisers describe as a landmark agricultural and investment gathering in Ogbomoso.
