The 2022 annual general meeting of Ogbomoso Recreation Club comes up on Saturday 16 April. Venue is the Club’s complex,opposite the headquarters of Ogbomoso North Local Government along llorin Road, Ogbomoso, commencing from 10.00am.
A statement from the Caretaker Committee of Club said the AGM will involve election of the Executive Committee members which will naturally terminate the tenure of the Caretaker Committee and pave way for full take over of the elected Committee members to continue to midwife the administration of the Club by the Executive.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Election Committee, Engr. Akin Oyekola said it has for the first time in the life of ORC, introduced electronic voting system and only paid up members are eligible to partake in the voting exercise, adding that they will they will receive the code and relevant information in respect of the online voting on their respective phones.
Engr. Oyekola said the election will be preceded by a manifestos night on Friday 16 April where each contestant is expected to unfold his plan and program of action that will enhance the growth of the Club and value to it.
The Caretaker Committee therefore enjoined all eligible voters to turn up for the AGM and participate in the voting to elect new Executive members.
