League of Imams and Alfas in Ogbomoso Land and Environs will on Sunday 8th of December, 2019 turban Engineer, Muftau Open Salawu, as the Saraki Adini.

This is coming few months after he was turbaned as Waziri Jari Nupe by the Etsu Nupe, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Yahaya Abubakar.

In letter signed by  the chairman Organizing committee Alhaji Imam Abd Lateef Bello and the secretary, Alhaji Imam Ghazali Usman Morunkunbi, the  league said Salawu is selected  among the people to be honoured because  on his  philanthropic gestures and contributions to the progress of Islam and service humanities

The event is part of the activities scheduled to commemorates the 30 years anniversary of the organizations

Open Salawu in a chat with our reporter thanked the League of Imams and Alfas in Ogbomoso for counting him worthy of the title and pray that Allah continue to guide and reward them abundantly

He said further that “The title and turbaning ceremony is a call for me to do more of what I have been doing and have been known for. Philanthropy is something I love doing so much. Because I believe with this, I can touch lifes of people who are in need.

“For even distribution of wealth, I urge other well-meaning Nigerians to embrace this. It’s the best way of contributing to the development of Ogbomoso, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.” he said.

He also thanked the League of Imams and Alfas for counting him worthy of the title. He prayed God continue to guide the association in their commitment.
