Ogbomoso- Igbeti Road Submerged in flood, Traders, Farmers stranded

Passengers including traders and farmers plying Ogbomoso- Oke Ogun road were on Saturday morning  stranded as flood submerged road  linking Igbeti – ogbomoso around Aipo area in Oriire locsl government area of Oyo state

Many of the passengers who left their home early in the morning in pursuit of their daily affairs could not cross to the other side of the road as the flood has taken over a portion of the road

The portion is between Ikoyi Ile, headquarter of oriire local government and Aipo community

An eye witnessed told our reporter that , till around 9:0 clock no vehicle, or motorcycles can enter from Oke Ogun and none of the ones coming from Ogbomoso can cross to the other side.

The witnes identified as Olubukola also Olatunji hinted that some residential apartments  have also been affected around Iluju and other communities in the council

He however called on the state and federal emergency management agency to visit the affected area and see how to avert more damages through control of flood in the areas that are prune.
