Prominent Indiegenes of Ogbomoso in the entertainment industry and others will be honoured by an indigenous socio-cultural group, Ogbomoso Community Foundation.
Some of the awardees are, Chief Lere Paimo, popularly known as Eda Onileola, Alhaji Ramoni Akanni, RKI, Akande Abolore known as 9ice, Kolawole Ajoyemi, Alhaji Wasiu Agara Benedict Ayoola, Femi Oyewumi and late Chief Ogundare Foyanmu.
The event which is schedule to commence at 4pm will hold on 28 September, 2019 at Viva Continental Event Centre, Iresaadu Road, Ogbomoso.
Other awardees includes, Dr Samson Adegoke, (Maigida) Mr Ayodeji Akande, while other entreptenurs in Ogbomoso will also be honoured with awards of recognition for their contributions to the economic development of the ancient city.
Also some organisations and entreprenuers will be honoured too
According to a letter signed , Major General Oladayo Popoola(rtd) OFR, mni , Air Vice Marshall Jacob Bolaji Adigun(rtd) is the chairman of the ocassion while eminent and revered personalities drawn across Nigeria and beyond are expected to grace the occassion
