Ogbomoso Descendants Union, College Of Agriculture, Igbo Ora Chapter, today Thursday 31st July, 2020 honoured the Distinguished Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari with an Award Of Excellence for his outstanding contributions to the development of the zone.
The Chairperson, Mrs Okoro – Robinson Yemisi, who presented the award on behalf of the union eulogized the Senator for his unprecedented representation towards ensuring growth and development in the zone.
” We are aware and proud of your giant strides so we are here to appreciate you. Your representation of the zone at the Senate has been outstanding. We celebrated the Union Day in April but because of the Coronavirus pandemic we have not been able to come down. We pray that God will continue to guide ,guard and brighten your path in your selfless quest to moving the zone forward “.
The Distinguished Senator in his response appreciated the union for the recognition and promised to work harder with other stakeholders for the benefits of all.
“I am honored with this award. It’s a challenge to do more and Insha Allah I will never disappoint you. Thank you very much for the recognition’, the Senator submitted.
