Adeleke Adeniyi Olusegun, known as Segun Hornz, is gearing up to set a new world record with a 72-hour saxophone marathon, aiming to surpass the current record of 26 hours and 23 minutes, held by Mysore Sainatha Subbalaxmi from India.
Born in Ogbomoso, Segun Hornz’s deep passion for the saxophone has led him to dedicate over 15,000 hours to mastering the instrument. This extraordinary commitment places him among a rare group of saxophonists worldwide with such extensive practice.
An alumnus of S.I.B.A.O Ogbomoso and a 2022 graduate in Agricultural Economics from LAUTECH, Segun Hornz aims to spotlight Ogbomoso in the Guinness World Records.
His 72-hour saxophone event will take place from November 6 to November 9, 2024, at Parrot FM, Oke Baby, Ogbomoso.
