Evidently, the prevalent drug challenges in Nigeria is having negative impact on the society as the remote courses of banditry, hooliganism, rape and other social vices which did not only put the society in the danger of insecurity are caused by drugs and this implies that in few years time it will be difficult to produce people who can intelligently contribute to the socio, economic and political development from the city if the influence of drugs may have eroded their sense of reasonings.
Akande Bukola, Ogunwale Amos and many others are living evidence of the success story of O’first group centre, their stories is not different from others who are engrossed in the drug addiction but they were lucky to be among the ones whose life has been restored with a better hope for the future through the Centre. Amos Confirmed his deep involvement aince he was introduced into the drug world in his early days at the University and how it affected his life in entirety before the intervention of the Behavioural Action Care Centre where he was treated and counsel, today he is a better person and looking forward for a better life.
O’ First Group is not only deeply involved in sensitizing and empowering the youths with neccessary information about the negative impact of drugs, they have also adopt strategic approach to help the younger generations to secure a better future and enhance a crime free society

President of the Association, Barrister Olusegun Adekunle in his remark at the opening ceremony said the conceptualization of the Action Care centre has risen out of the growing decadence observable in our society generally as Socio-economic development enveloped the city and neighbouring communities. Particularly disturbing is the phenomenon of drug and substance use and abuse by persons of all demographics and gender.”
“The effect of this cannot be over emphasized as they range for mental health, challenges to safety, security, socio- economic impacts such as increasing drop in school attendance, severe criminal activities cybercrime and Cultism.
Adekunle maintained that the O’First Group recognized the fact that addressing the problem requires collaboration with various Interest group and entities, networking, planning, concerted efforts on awareness creation and sensitization. Adding that the group will continue to build alliances and domestic collaboration in and around Ogbomoso because the bulk of the solution is local.

The former Military Admnistrator of Lagos state, while calling for collaboration with stakeholders said NDLEA will continue to ensure crackdown on all sources of illict drugs wherever they are used planted or or being sold.
“Before giving your children out in Marriage always ask for Drug Free Certificate, ensure periodic drug test for your children and when you notice any form of behavioural changes due to peer influence, take action so as not to jeopardize the future of such child and always ensure that politicians who want to represent you present drug feee Certificate”
While commending the Ogbomoso First Group on the projects, Marwa said Ogbomoso are knowm for success in business and leading a pace in all aspect, today is another evidence of their bravery, courage and determination to make Nigeria better place and i salute their courage and assured them of maximum support.
Apart from commissioning the centre, and other facilities, General Marwa and his entourage visited correctional centre facilities in Ogbomoso, Soun of Ogbomoso land Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111, Onpetu of Ijeru Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Osekun Olagbami 11 said the government should embark on more Advocacy against drugs and pledges to support them.
