Amidst growing concerns over rising insecurity and the need for effective law enforcement, federal lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/southwest federal constituency, Hon. Dhikrullahi Olajide Stanley Adedeji  better known as  Odidiomo has harped on the for  state policing and security reform.

Drawing upon his vast experience and expertise as the chairman of the House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, Hon. Odidiomo articulated a compelling case for decentralizing law enforcement agencies to enhance security and combat criminal activities.

In a thought-provoking interview with a seasoned journalist, Mayor Isaac brown, Hon. Odidiomo underscored the imperative of adopting state policing models akin to those employed in advanced democracies such as the United States.

Citing the success of regional security outfits like Amotekun in addressing local security challenges, he advocated for granting arms and resources to bolster their effectiveness in safeguarding communities.
