The lingering political crisis between Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Chief Bode George a former National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was laid to rest today and the former president Visited the latter in his Ikoyi home to console him over his Son’s death

The ex- president, who led top aides and loyalists to the residence of the former Military Administrator of Ondo State, urged Bode to take solace in God on the demise of his son, Dipo.

He said, “We cannot query God, but to only take solace in what He has done to you. If this did not happen, who knows what next that will happen? I have not been around but it was in my mind to come over and commiserate with you and the family. May God grant the depose eternal rest.”

However, a sister to Bode George, Alhaja Majolagbe in her vote of thanks described Obasanjo’s visit as an end to the political rift between the duo.

“We are all shocked when this started. But, today, the devil has been put to shame. The evil this morning has been condemned outside this house. It will never come to this two great Nigerians anymore.

“There is another time when my brother will find Ota his home. It is over, Allah takes all the thanks,” she said.
