Oba Ajibola, Oloye Sanusi, Ona Ara Monarchs Hail Makinde as Hon Glorious Marks 100 Days with 52 Achievements

In an event that highlighted impactful governance and community progress, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Asiwaju of Ona-Ara and Egbeda, showered praises on Governor Seyi Makinde and Hon. Glorious, the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, for their relentless efforts to improve the well-being of their people.

Chief Sanusi, renowned for his commitment to the development of Oyo State, lauded Hon. Glorious for his outstanding achievements in just 100 days in office, during which 52 significant milestones were recorded in various sectors, including infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment.

The event, held to mark the 100 days in office of Hon. Glorious, saw key stakeholders, including Balogun of Ibadanland Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, the Traditional Council in Ona-Ara, Oniladutan and other dignitaries, commending the strides made under Governor Makinde’s leadership. Chief Sanusi specifically noted the active collaboration between the State and Local Governments, which has fostered an environment for sustainable growth.

Among the most notable accomplishments was the renovation and construction of critical infrastructure such as bridges, schools, health centers, and public offices. Hon. Glorious’ administration also initiated youth and women empowerment programs, environmental projects, and public safety measures. This progress was highlighted as a testament to the Governor’s inclusive governance.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, in his remarks, pointed out that Ona-Ara is reaping the benefits of Governor Makinde’s support, coupled with Hon. Glorious’ passion for his people. “Hon. Glorious has raised the bar for what can be achieved in a short period. His focus on infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and community welfare is worthy of emulation, and this aligns with Governor Makinde’s vision for a greater Oyo State,” he stated.

Chief Sanusi also extended his congratulations to Hon. Sikiru Sanda, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, for his commendable achievements in the last 100 days. He noted the synergy between both local governments, which has spurred development across Egbeda and Ona-Ara.

In conclusion, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi led the gathering in a celebratory chant, exclaiming “52 Gbosa” in honor of Governor Seyi Makinde’s visionary leadership, which has enabled remarkable achievements across the state. He reiterated his commitment to further collaboration and progress for the people of Ona-Ara and Egbeda, ensuring a future where every citizen enjoys the dividends of good governance.

Hon. Glorious, in his speech, assured the people of Ona-Ara that his administration would continue to deliver on its promises, with more impactful projects to come, further solidifying Ona-Ara as a model local government in Oyo State.
