The Ogbomoso First Community Initiative has consoled the family of its late President, Sir Ademola Dare-Williams.
In a condolence to his family, the Group described him as a reliable and dependable ally who charted a path of progress for the development of the Club. It was stated that he devoted and applied himself to the discharge of his responsibility as a Leader.
The Group noted that his short tenure was characterised with unprecedented achievements as it recorded with the support cooperation of members, the completion of a hall, establishment of a fully equipped drug rehabilitation center and consistently empowered the youths and artisans through donations of working tools to boost their vocations.
While commiserating with the family, the O’ First Group prayed that the almighty God grant him eternal peaceful rest and comfort all the bereaved.
In a related development, the Ogbomoso Recreation Club has described his death as painful, and saddening as he was a rallying point and the bride builder amongst it’s members, noting that the Golf Section had been bereft of his notable advice and contributions to the growth of the section. He died when his services are mostly needed.
As a mark of honor to him, the Section will have a Tee off and planting of tree on Thursday, 20th August.
Meanwhile, the family in a statement said there will be a wake keep service on Thursday 20 August at Trinity Church, Stadium Road Ogbomoso, and this will be followed by a Night of Tributes organized by the O’ First Group at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club by 7.00pm.
The funeral service holds on Friday 21st at the Methodist Cathedral of Evangelism Arowomole Ogbomoso, this will be preceded by lying in state by at his residence, and also at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club.
