NSCDC Arrest Vandals in Ibadan

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) Oyo State Command Anti Vandal team on Monday arrested White DAF Tanker at the NNPC right of way around Oloje area near Dedun Village in Akinyele Local Government of Oyo State.

Also on saturday night a red Mark Diesel Truck with 33000 liters of premium motor spirit(pms)was arrested at odo omi boundary between ogun and oyo state.

The vandals who operated in ogun line fell down while trying to negotiate on small bridge in the forest.

The content has been transloaded and it had been taken to Ibadan depot for decanting. The two truck have no registration number while the drivers and their accomplice were at large.

The State Commandant CC Iskilu Akinsanya who made it known today at the Command State Headquarters Agodi Ibadan said that despite patrolling the right of way, the Vandals after Vandalized the pipeline with a full load of 33,000 liters of PMS on sighting the men of Anti vandal squad of Oyo NSCDC abandoned the tankers.

Meanwhile, after repair on the pipeline by NNPC, the product have been transferred to NNPC Apata Depot while the tankers are in NSCDC custody.

It would be recalled that no account of Vandalization was recorded in Oyo State right of way for the past 2years.

The State Commandant now used the medium to warned those specialized in Vandalization in the State to desist because whoever is caught by the Corps will be dealt with according to the law. “Look for good work and shun criminality as crime does not pay “he said
