According to him,  “As a matter of fact I hold the view that there should be no election in Nigeria until Nigeria is restructured, because if there are elections today, it will just be continuity of the same rascality, continuity of the same confusion, continuity of the same lopsidedness, continue of the same poverty that has characterized the lives of Nigerians in the last few years   Nigeria must be restructured, for peace progress and  be entrenched in Nigeria”

Adeniyi said further that “people should be in charge of their affairs, every nationality should be in charge of their affairs, if you are saying you have a federation, federation means federating unit coming together to form a country ,that  federating unit must agree on the kind of government they want to run”

He posit that  the increasing agitation for restructuring shows that  the structure that is presently in place is not working  “and if it’s not working and there is a lot of poverty , insecurity and all bad things are happening it means the structures is not working and it has to be structured so that Nigeria can have peace progress and  stability
