NLC, TUC, NUJ Others to Participate in Oyo Labour Unity Cup

Labour Unions in Oyo state including the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC, Trade Union Congress TUC , Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ and others are to participate in the maiden edition of Oyo Labour Union Cup

At a press conference jointly adressed by Comrad Bayo Titilola Sodo, President NLC Oyo State Ademola Babalola State Chairman Oyo NUJ and Comrade Mayowa Falegbe, Secretary TUC the Union leaders said the focus of the competition is to promote Unity among the labour unions in the state

Comrade Sodo maintained that, event like this will not only promote unity but prevent insecurity and terroism which has bedeviled our Nation

Demola Babalola NUJ chairman in his message said this is the first time something like this is coming and it will enable is to know eachother and. promote unity

Comrade Mayowa Falegbe, Secretary TUC also express optimiam that Engineer Oluseyi Makinde will support the event because promotion  of peace and  unity is one of the agenda of his administration.

Coach Adeoye of NITO communication who is cordinating the event said registration of team start today and the final would come up on May 1st, after the  International Workers Day where trophies ans medals will be presented to the winners.

Adeoye said ” No team will be allowed to hire machineries and all players must go through medics and certificed ok  before he is allow to play
