The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr Oluseyi Makinde has said that the installation of the 43rd Olubadan of ibadanland will hold soon
Oba owolabi Olakulehin is nominated as the olubandan designate and his name has since been submitted to the governor for approval
Gov Makinde while speaking at the reception held in honour of the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Sen Dr Lekan Balogun Alli Okunmade said he has approved the submission of the olubadan in council.
The governor who hinted that he worked with the late Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun to restructure the chieftaincy law of ibadanland maintained the due process has been followed and the olubadan designate Oba Olakulehin would be installed as soon as he is strong enough for the coronation
The event which was held at Obafemi Awolowo stadium ibadan had in attendance eminent personalities from all the works of life, including traditional rulers, Mogajis, political office holders and others .
Speaking with journalists, Amb Tukur Buratai, form chief of Army staff described the late monarch as a detribalized Nigerians who lived hisove to serve God and humanity.
