NBTE Approves ND in Photography, Tourism, Taxation Others for The Poly, Ibadan

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) The regulatory body for Polytechnic education in Nigeria has approved seven new academic programmes for the Institution.

The letter conveying the approval dated 19th May, 2023 with reference number TEB/PRO/SP.11/VOL.111/444 addressed to the Rector, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi, signed by Architect Ngbede Ogoh, the Director of Polytechnic Programmes on behalf of The NBTE Executive Secretary, professor Idris Bugaje.

The approved programmes are:, ND Photography Technology, HND Library and Information Science,, ND Tourism Management Technology ND Cooperative Economics and Management, ND Taxation, ND Metallurgical Engineering Technology, and, N D Pharmaceutical Technology.

Mrs Modupe Theresa Fawale FNIM, Registrar/Secretary to Council in a statement said the approval according to the letter from The NBTE allows the Institution to commence admission for the stated programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The Rector of the Institution, Professor Kazeem Adekunle Adebiyi while expressing gratitude to the NBTE noted that all efforts would be made to commence admission into the stated programmes and equally abide with the NBTE regulations on all the programmes run by the Institution.

He commended the State Governor, Engr Oluseyi Makinde for the financial and moral Support to the Institution without hindrance
