The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Oyo State Council, has congratulated the Provost of the Oyo State College of Nursing Sciences, Eleyele, Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi, on her appointment as a member of the Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the State Chairman of the association, Comrade Adeleke Olugbade Victor, and the State Secretary, Comrade Aina Emmanuel Oluwasegun, the association described the appointment as well-deserved and a recognition of Dr. Owolabi’s outstanding contributions to the nursing profession.
The association noted that Dr. Owolabi’s wealth of experience, dedication to professional excellence, and commitment to the growth and development of nursing education and practice made her a worthy choice for the national assignment.
According to the statement, her appointment reflects her exemplary leadership qualities and unwavering passion for advancing the nursing profession in Nigeria.
NANNM expressed confidence that Dr. Owolabi’s expertise and vast knowledge would contribute significantly to policy formulation and the overall development of nursing and midwifery in the country.
The association further stated that her presence on the NMCN Board would help strengthen the profession, promote the interests of nurses and midwives, and enhance quality healthcare delivery nationwide.
