Oyo state House of Assembly today call for a preventive measure against the outbreak of monkey pox in the country .
This follows the motion of urgent of public importance raise by Hon Kayode Solomon Akande member representing Ogbomoso South state constituency .
He urged the House to take a step in mandating the appropriate authority to ensure the diseases did not spread to the state .
The Speaker Rt Hon Michael Adeyemo who directed the committee on Health to act on the issue also appeal to people to always be conscious of their personal hygiene
Adeyemo said one of the ways of preventing a diseases is ensuring a personal hygiene and maintaining a clean environment.
The House also pass deliberate on customary court of Appeal Amendment Bill and a bill for constitution of customary court in the state and the two were forwarded to the appropriate committee for further development.
