Lagos State Police Command on Thursday evening said Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in their custody
The music promoter is being interrogated for his alleged involvement in death of 27 years old rising music star Promise Ilerioluwa Aloba
It was gathered that he flew in from Kenya last night and he is currently being interrogated by the police authority
The command’s spokesperson
Benjamin Hundeyin while giving update Mohbad’s death said ” Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation. ”
Sam Larry and his ally, Azeez Fashola, Naira Marley, were accused of having multiple face-off with Mohbad which led to his death but they have also denied having hands in Mohbad’s death.
Naira Marley in a statement from Marlian Music said he was shocked with the accusation from may quarters about his involvement in Mohbad’s death and promised to come to Nigeria soon to help police investigation
