In a statement commemorating the milestone, the Chairman of the company, Mogaji Wole Arisekola, described the anniversary as a celebration of vision, determination, integrity and God’s faithfulness throughout the company’s journey.

According to him, Okebadan Oil and Gas was registered on August 1, 2008, as a trading company in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, operating initially from a small office in Maitama with a Picanto vehicle serving as its operational car.

He recalled that the early years were marked by numerous challenges, sacrifices and valuable lessons but noted that the company remained focused on its vision despite the obstacles.
Arisekola said a major turning point came in 2013, when the then Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) selected Okebadan Oil and Gas as one of the companies authorised to lift and distribute petroleum products from its refineries across the country.

He described the opportunity as a defining moment that transformed the company’s fortunes and ushered in a new phase of growth and expansion.

“Today, Okebadan Oil and Gas is no longer just a participant in the industry; we have become a respected name and a force to be reckoned with. Our achievements are a testament to resilience, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to excellence,” he said.

The company expressed appreciation to its customers, employees, business partners and other stakeholders for their loyalty and support over the years, noting that they have remained the foundation of its success.

Arisekola reaffirmed the company’s commitment to innovation, excellent service delivery and meaningful contributions to Nigeria’s economic development.

He also expressed gratitude to God for sustaining the company throughout its 18-year journey, adding that the anniversary marks the beginning of even greater accomplishments.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to raising the bar, embracing innovation and delivering exceptional service. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come,” he stated.
