Senator Rashidi Ladoja’s house in Ondo street Bodija Ibadan, Oyo state capital was beehive of unusual political activities on Monday as two former governors from different party and a factional members of the All progressives Party visited him to woe him to their party
The first caller was the former Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko of Labour Party and later Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola the coordinator of former president Olusegun Obasanjo Coalition movement
They were said to have a close door meeting with the former governor at different times
Though none of them decline to comment on the purpose of their visits but it cannot be unconnected with the decision of the former governor to quit the Peoples Democratic Party PDP if the decision on the party Exco was not ratified before seven days
It would be recalled that Dr Mimiko on last Thursday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Ondo state and returned to Labour Party while Olagunsoye Oyinlola left APC for ADC , a party adopted by Obasanjo’s coalition movement.
Those who were at Ladoja’s residence to welcome the guests along with the former governor include his wife, Olayinka Ladoja; former Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin; Hon. Yemi Aderibigbe and Dr. Nurain Adeniran
