South African evangelist and founder of the global ministry Take the Nations, Daniel Du Toit, has expressed solidarity with Christians and residents of Ogbomoso, Nigeria, following the abduction of teachers and schoolchildren in parts of Oyo State.

In a message shared online, Du Toit who held crusade in ogbomoso last month said the ministry is praying for the safe return of the remaining victims still in captivity.

“We are praying for all our brothers and sisters in Christ in Ogbomoso, Nigeria. We are trusting the Lord to bring the remaining teachers and children home safely. May the plans of the wicked be exposed in Jesus Name!” he stated.

The message comes amid growing local and international concern over the recent attack on schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Ogbomoso, where gunmen abducted teachers and pupils, sparking widespread condemnation and prayers for the victims’ safe release.
