An Ibadan Chieg magistrate sitting in Iyanganku Mr.A.A. Adebisi on Friday has ordered that Agbola Ibrahim (23) be given 12 strokes of cane at open court for allegedly attempting to steal brand new unregistered Bajaj motorcycle
The 23years old, who was arrested by police and arraigned at the magistrate court 2, iyanganku Ibadan was nabbed when he was trying to steal unregistered motorcycle
Ibrahim, who pleaded guilty was arraigned on one count charge of stealing
with charge No: MI/1555/2017.
The prosecutor, Mr. Shalewa Hammed told the court that the accused on the 23 of August 2017 at about 2pm at mokola Area of ibadan magisterial district did to have in his possession one unregistered Bajaj motorcycle valued two hundred and fifty thousand(250,000)
The prosecutor said the offences contravened section 430 of the criminal Code Cap 38, Vol. II, Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.
