The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 43-year-old man, Lateef Suleiman, for allegedly killing his elder brother in Sepeteri area of the state.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, the incident was reported at the Ago-Amodu Divisional Police Headquarters, Sepeteri, by one Badmus Yunisa of Alegunlode Compound.

The suspect was alleged to have attacked his elder brother, Mustapha Amidu, 52, following an accusation that the deceased had shot him in a dream while he was asleep the previous night. Police operatives led by the Divisional Police Officer of Ago-Amodu Division visited the scene and the hospital as part of preliminary investigations. The suspect was later arrested and has reportedly confessed to the crime, while cooperating with investigators.
