Makinde’s Ally, Rita Orji Bags Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award

An ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon (Barr) Rita Orji has been honoured with the 2025 Outstanding Female Political Award.

The former federal lawmaker who represented Ajeromi/Ifelodun Federal Constituency was honoured at the 10th Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award.

The prestigious recognition was presented on Thursday for her excellent leadership qualities, consistent commitment to good governance, passion for humanity and for being a role model to young people.

The organizers described Dr. Rita as a dynamic leader who has brought innovation, dignity, and excellence to legislative governance and the entire political scene.

In her response, Hon Rita Orji expressed deep gratitude to the organizers of Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award for the honour.

She described the award as a motivation to continue serving humanity with integrity and vision.

Similarly, Hon Rita received the official plaque of the 2021 Most Inspiring Female Political Leader Award for her outstanding capacity, diligent commitment towards the betterment of humanity, consistent dedication to youth/women development and love for people in general.
